I really hate the referencing Mosh to Monroe thing. She looks like her, yeah, but that's no reason to keep doing it. Monroe was not a good symbol. She was in all sense of the word, a whore. Behind the beautiful face and the modeling, she was a slut. Especially to the Kennedys.
Or she was just using the precious time she was given to pursue what she believed would bring her happiness and was simply strong enough to deal with the repercussion and scorn to follow. I see her as strong and beautiful. It's all perspective. Not disagreeing or agreeing with you, just hoping to bring another view.
Perspective is view, but it isn't always fact. Either way I never said Mosh or Monroe weren't beautiful women, of course they are/were. You have to understand, though, I work at an art store. We sell gift bags, cards, purses, and other things tagged with Monroe and Audrey Hepburn. 9/10 of the people that buy those products buy the Monroe labeled ones. Usually younger people that have no idea of her actual background, only buying them because she is noted as a symbol of beauty. "The blonde bombshell" if you would. And I have to disagree. Beauty only goes so far. It is the person that matters.
She was, but her symbolism is crushed by what she was. Mosh is gorgeous and a well spirited person. I'd rather not lob them into the same category.
But, that's just me really. It's just one of those little things that bother me. Everyone has something silly they can't stand. You know? So, I wasn't meaning to come off mean or anything, I just wanted to say my piece I suppose.
